Our current licensing model is based on an annual subscription. With this model, a single license permits a single admin user to utilize the product across any size domain or domains on multiple computers. The license remains valid for the duration of the purchased licensing period and includes all updates, as well as priority support for enhancements and bug fixes. Please note that the product will require a new license upon expiration. We have designed this model to continually enhance and ensure compatibility with all new Windows domain controllers. If you are interested in purchasing multiple licenses or extending the licensing period beyond one year, please reach out to us so that we can offer you a discount.

How to create Custom Reports
There are a few options available to customize the report header:
- Using the Report Wizard: Right-click on any report and choose the "Customize" option. You can then enter the desired information in the "Report Title" field. This customization will be saved for the current report. Alternatively, you can save the report as a Custom report, which will appear in the "Custom" reports tab.
- Utilizing the Print Preview feature: Load any report and select "Print Preview..." In the Print Preview window, click on "Header/Footer" and input the desired information in the header or footer area for the current report.
Absolutely! It is not necessary to have domain admin privileges to run Active Directory reports. Any user, regardless of their administrative role, can run the reports. All you need is to be logged into a domain to access Active Directory and run the reports.
How to get the list of new computers that have joined the domain in the last 30 days? back to topTo retrieve all new computer accounts, follow these steps:
- Right-click on the "All Computers" report and choose the "Customize" option.
- In the Report Wizard, navigate to General Filter Settings.
- Select the LDAP filter builder option.
- Choose the "When Created" attribute.
- Specify the filter condition as "Is greater than or equal to" and select a date that is 30 days prior to the current date.
- Click on "Save & Exit" to save the settings. By following these steps, you will be able to load all the new computer accounts based on the specified criteria.
How to create Custom Reports Can I report on Exchange attributes like delegated account access/send on behalf? back to top
There are two LDAP Exchange attributes associated with "Send on behalf" functionality:
- publicDelegates: This attribute stores the user (secretary) who has been configured as a delegate.
- publicDelegatesBL: This attribute stores the user's mailbox (manager) that has been configured with a delegate.
- Right-click on the "Mailbox Enabled Users" report and choose the "Customize..." option.
- Go to the "Grid Column Setting" tab.
- Select "AD Exchange Attributes."
- Scroll down and choose either publicDelegates or publicDelegatesBL, and click on "Add to Grid." You can also drag and drop the attribute to the desired position in the grid or double-click on it.
- Click on "Save & Exit" to save the changes.
- If the publicDelegates attribute is not empty, it will contain the distinguished names of the delegate users.
- To filter the report based on the presence of data in the publicDelegates column, enter "CN" in the filter row of that column. The grid will then be filtered to show only records with data in the publicDelegates column.

How to have a dialog box asking the period or number of days? back to topWhen you initially choose a report that involves dates (e.g., "Users Deleted Between..."), a pop-up dialog will appear, allowing you to specify either the number of days or a date range based on the report requirements. If you wish to modify the dates for a selected report that has already been loaded, simply right-click on the report, choose the option "Change Date Range" or "Change Number of Days," confirm your selection by clicking OK, and the report will be reloaded with the updated dates.
I ran the report for "Users without passwords" and came up with over 200. I tested a few of these by logging into a workstation as the user and this report does not appear to be accurate. back to topIf the PASSWD_NOTREQD bit is enabled in the userAccountControl attribute, the administrator has the ability to reset the password for that account while adhering to the password policy. Alternatively, they can set the password to blank, allowing the user to log in to the domain without a password. The "Users with no password required" report retrieves all users for whom the PASSWD_NOTREQD bit is set to true (userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=32), regardless of the actual password value. If the administrator sets the password to blank, the user can log in without a password, regardless of the domain's password policy. However, if the password is not blank for a user with PASSWD_NOTREQD set to true, and the administrator changes it to a non-blank value, this action does not automatically change the PASSWD_NOTREQD bit back to false. In such cases, if the administrator resets the password back to blank, the user can potentially log in with a blank password.
How can I modify a report to only report disabled accounts that have been disabled for more than 90 days. back to topActive Directory does not update any timestamp indicating when a user was disabled. As a result, if a user is disabled, they are considered inactive, allowing you to generate a report of all disabled users for a specific period of time. To accomplish this, follow these steps:
- Go to the User tab and select "Inactive Users for XX days."
- In the pop-up window, enter "90 days" as the desired timeframe and click OK.
- The report will be reloaded, displaying all inactive users for the specified 90-day period.
- If the Disabled column is not visible, add it using the Report Wizard by clicking the "Customize..." button.
- Click on the Disabled column header to sort the report by that column. All disabled users will have "Yes" in the Disabled column.
- Alternatively, you can directly type "Yes" in the filter row beneath the "Disabled" column name, which will refine the report to display only disabled users.
- At this point, you have your report containing disabled inactive users for the past 90 days.
- Finally, you can export or print the report as needed.
By default, disabled accounts are included in all user reports, unless the report is specifically designed for enabled users, such as the "Enabled" user report. Additionally, the Disabled column is included in every user report as a default column. If, for some reason, the Disabled column is not visible, you can easily add it by following these steps:
- Right-click on a user report.
- Select "Customize Report..." from the menu.
- In the customization options, choose "Grid Column Settings."
- Locate the Disabled column and drag it to the grid area.
- Once added, the Disabled column will be visible in the user report.
How to create Custom Reports When we run user report with membership it takes too long till it is finished. Do you any suggestions to speed up this query? back to top
If you choose the "Load Distinguished Names Only" option in the membership settings of the report, you can accelerate the membership process. By doing so, AD Reports will not need to query the attributes of each individual member for every group or user. Additionally, selecting the option to load nested membership may result in slower performance.
